Excellent community on Long Island. Village is well managed by elected officials (mayor and board of trustees). Beautiful park opened in 2006 with outdoor swimming pool, lockers, playing fields, tennis courts, fitness center, and senior center. (Go to villageofeasthills.org) Excellent proximity to Manhattan via highway (Norhern State Parkway or Long Island Expressway) or LIRR from Roslyn. School taxes are outrageous, but at least the schools are excellent--equivalent of paying for and getting private school education.
